About the Position
Ensemble Music Schools is seeking fun, experienced, and professional music instructors to teach part-time at our Philadelphia, PA location.
This teaching position is IN PERSON and in Students' homes and serves the Main Line area, from Berwyn to Wynnewood, including the zip codes 19003, 19041, 19010, 19085, 19087.
Teachers can set their availability within our open hours as needed, but both students and school staff appreciate consistency and preference will be given to candidates with greater availability. This position is unique as the instructor will need a reliable mode of transportation as they will be instructing in family residences, in person.
Successful candidates will have a strong music background evidenced by a degree in performance or equivalent performing experience, a demonstrated love of teaching, experience working with young musicians, a robust appreciation for punctuality, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay is commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $30-34/hour, with standard IRS mileage reimbursement. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all of our employees after 90 days on the job.
